I LOVE this neckline. I know it makes no sense, and I have no idea how one would wear a coat over it, but it's wonderful! The green is so gross that it's alluring. Okay, I do admit that matching the shoes is going a bit too far...

A Disaster Waiting to Happen

I it wrong that I want clogs? Maybe it's because of Chanel, or the fact I was a 90's child... but I feel some strong yearning to own clogs. I don't even know if I could walk in them, or if they'd be comfortable. Clogs are supposed to be good for you back, but I doubt that's the case when you add a 5 inch heel to them. Anyway, if you're interested, the Chanel-like clogs are (of course) by Jeffrey Campbell. The other pair is Steve Madden.

Now the only question is, Jeffrey Campbell in nude or black...

I seriously wish I was some place warm. The snow is beautiful, and I'm on my 3rd snow day in a row, which I think is probably pretty rare for Uni, but still... I wish I was free of all my school work and running around in some warm city. Sigh. The spring weather seems millions of miles away... As does a break from school.

I love this blazer/jacket. I got it over Christmas at Century 21 for a serious bargain. Those of you that live in NY should be (very) familiar with the store. On another note, I'd really love my hair to grow faster so that I can reshape it into something that doesn't look terrible.

Remember that snow I talked about over the weekend? Well my university actually closed down today and is going to be closed tomorrow as well! It's super crazy how Pittsburgh fails to deal with snow. When I was living in NY they would plow every few hours and salt like it was their job. It was just this morning that they half plowed my street. Serious fail.

Wow! Pittsburgh got 2 feet of snow last night! I went outside around 11pm last night to walk to my boyfriends house and there was about 10 inches of snow, people drinking beer in the street, and milling around. This morning I woke up and the snow was almost up to my knees (and I'm not exactly short, I'm 5'7"). I managed to walk home JUST so I could get to my laptop and post this new post. So I hope you all enjoyed it. :)

In a fashion sense, winter is always a dilemma for me. I tend to dress very practically-- ok, so that's an overstatement. I guess I should say that I dress for comfort. One of the things I hate the most is the cold! I can't stand it. I'm also paranoid about slipping on the ice (which there is so much of in Pittsburgh).

Naturally, my winter wardrobe has a lot of oversized sweater things. This formless sweater is possibly one of my favourites. It's just SO cozy. I wish clothes were cheaper. Wait, I wish I had a (fun) job.

I've seriously fallen in love with black and white photos lately. I'm sorry if they're starting to bore you guys. But I've been experimenting with a lot of movement so hopefully it's taking things up a notch. I need to take a new set of photos some time soon. Maybe this time they will end up in colour. The problem is some of the colour is lost when I upload the photos online and it ends up being really disappointing.
